The stakes in the House weren't quite as high because they have elections every 2 years, but keeping the Republicans to a 10-seat cushion might help blunt some of the craziest legislation. People compare this election to 2016, and for the Presidency that's probably apt. But the Republicans ended up with a 47-seat majority in Congress that year which is far bigger than what they'll get this year.
I agree here but man, she was pretty invisible during her 4 year term prior to Biden stepping aside. Even mike pence had more presence during his stint.. for good or bad. Not to say she wasn't doing work during the 4 years, but she wasn't much of a known quantity to those that don't follow politics much. She did pretty well for the little time she had in the spotlight
