Parenthood - Cheesy simple movie with all the tropes, not brilliant but I loved it.
Steve Martin is a neurotic, anxious guy who wants everything perfect and is constantly worried he isn't good enough. But his kid Joaquin Phoenix is masturbating too much, his daughter a whore banging Keanu Reeves, his brother is a lech, his younger kid is probably ######ed a bit, his wife thinks he's ridiculous being stressed about it and you are understanding him.
His younger kid is having a birthday party he wants perfect and everything fatas up and its a shatshow and he's about to have a panic attack and he looks at his wife and she is having the time of her life watching it all go south. Rollercoaster that just keeps going up sucks ass, the downs make the entire ride.
Anyway, watch that movie if you are nostalgic at all.

Parenthood is one of my favourites. It's the perfect blend of comedy and drama. It hits especially hard as you and your family get older.
I know they made a TV show as well, but I never watched it.
