This. Trump won this election because his campaign resonated with uneducated/poor people.

And he might even objectively help them - tariffs are good for US manufacturing, and resource extraction and reduced immigration both support wages at the low end of the scale.

The democrats need to get in touch with their historic labour base if they want a path to victory. Rich tech workers care about the stuff they campaigned on, but there aren't many of them in Wisconsin.

Sucks for Ukraine that the democrats couldn't get out of their own way. If Biden doesn't run again a contested primary almost certainly gets them a winning candidate.
