So I did end up buying the quest 2 second hand for $150 and I love it. Although I did have one incident where I loaded up meta world social game and was running around playing laser lag in the office, well it gave me terrible motion sickness and laid me out for the evening. Lesson learned, I'm only doing teleport mode from now on.

Overall the system reminds me a lot of the Wii when it first came out as far as the cool things you can do with motion tracking. It is great for the casual gamer that just wants to jump in and have a little fun. The downside is that it is not social, like the Wii as everyone would need their own headset.

I ordered a head strap last night and the 3 just made my Christmas list.
