Kinda shocking how all over the map the Japanese series is, including having 2 alternate sequels and a prequel. The American remake is such a masterpiece, pulling all the right elements and fully leaning into the truly horrific elements.

We also did the run of Manhunter, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon, and Hannibal Rising (lol).

I havent run that gauntlet in a while, but I have been considering a re-watch of the Hannibal TV series.
