The all time low was 1990 at 15320, and only twice have they fallen below 16000

This year attendance is 17169

There are a lot more people in Calgary then 1990, so that should offset attendance drops somewhat from the all time lows. Also certain teams will always be big draws (The dome will just become a visiting teams arena even more on those nights)

So maybe you see another 1000 fans per game drop, but the reality is the casual fan attendance has been trending down for 3 straight years/since COVID

I am guessing we average 16750 for the year

(I mean you're just reporting what you see of course, so not on you specifically).

The year after you win the Stanley Cup isn't a struggle for attendance.

In the late 90's you could turn in a coupon from a case of Coke and get a $5 ticket it was so dead. That didn't recover till 2004.

Anyway - doesn't feel accurate.
1990/91 was actually the Flames highest attendance average in team history at 19986. I suspect he mistyped and meant 99/2000.
