I've been rewatching the Scream movies, it's probably the most consistent slasher franchise, there isn't an outright terrible movie.
Scream - the original is one of the best slasher films and the best 90s horror movie. Still holds up really well.
Scream 2- underrated, the opening is amazing at the movie theater.
Scream 3 - my least favorite but there is still plenty to enjoy here. The movie is ahead of its time, showing how Hollywood producers would take advantage of young actresses and abuse them. Produced by Harvey Weinstein, was Wes Craven telling us something?
Scream 4- again way ahead of its time, the film talks about the influence of social media and how kids use it to become famous. This also has a stacked cast, and introduces fan favorite Kirby.
