I used to work in a fish hatchery. The system that would collect all the waste, so poop, slime, and dead fish parts would have to be cleaned once in a while. It would basically form this sort of fleshy gelatinous "thing" on the surface of the water. The people that I worked with called it mung, but I don't know if that is a technical term.
Anyway, no one ever wanted to clean it so I'd be the big hero and do it. It was by far the nastiest and most vile thing I have ever smelled. It was non-stop gagging and dry heaving the whole time. In fact, the only time I was pretty badly injured on the job was because I dry heaved so hard I threw my back out.
Also formaldehyde makes me sick. I had to dissect piglets in biology class and to this day, I think of that smell and feel ill.
