I really hope the Flames do sell high on Andersson this season. Whatever else happens, happens - but I think Raz isn’t going to want to sign a contract with the the Flames that most people would deem ‘fair’, and he’ll be 30 years old a few months after inking that contract. Extract maximum value, which with how he’s playing right now could be quite the haul.

I don't really get the sell on Andersson theory. We need players that can produce, and he's a guy that should age reasonably well at a position where impact players are hard to come by. There's no reason to think he or Weegar can't be top 3 level blueliners for another 5 years, which would align exactly with what this team is doing.
You don't want to throw guys like Parekh and Hunter B into a complete dumpster fire and you definitely don't want Wolf playing behind an absolute gong show either. The below would be pretty stout with a great mix of experience and skill sets in 1-2 seasons.
Parekh-Andersson
Weegar-Bruz
Bahl-Morin
Miromanov
