I’m not gonna say it, but I’m gonna say it. The Flames did this to Bennett’s early days, and it mangled his development.
Drafted him as a Centre.
Played him as a Wing.
Kicked him all around the roster, and didn’t embrace him when he earned it.
Play Zary at centre. Conroy has said himself that Zary has said he wants to play centre, so play him at centre. You drafted him as one, he wants to be one, and he’s your most consistent player.
