Honestly not sure if would be that far fetched… If Andersson keeps playing like this he will likely end up 2nd/3rd in Norris votes (Makar will absolutely win if he keeps up his pace). But Andersson becoming a ppg defender would make him even more valuable. Looking at it the other way though… Tij is Utah’s first pick ever and he is likely considered a top 10-15 prospect league-wide right now. I think by the time the World Juniors are over, his value will be even higher and he will be even more untouchable. Utah apparently asked for a huge ransom from Calgary to switch picks at the draft if Calgary wanted to get Tij.
Both players are extremely valuable… it would take both Calgary and Utah really, really wanting to make that trade happen for it to go through. And, in the end, I bet Calgary would have to add in that situation.
