If you Aren't already you should be changing filters monthly and Using no higher than a Merv 6 filter .

For those using 4 and 5 inch thick box filters do yourself a favor.

Use a leaf blower, or compressor to blow the filter out MONTHLY so your prolonging the lifespan of those expensive filters .

Electronic air cleaners....pre filters monthly and cells 6 times a year using DAP spray.

HRVs should be cleaned 4 times a year as well.

Lastly . Furnaces attached to dirty ducts do not stay clean. Get them cleaned and have the furnsces inspected cleaned and tuned-up all at the same time by qualified experienced knowledgeable people only .
