Watching Kerins this season is going to be interesting, as his pro career so far has been such a mixed bag.

He was part of the numbers game in his first season and had okay ECHL stats.

Then last season was productive but didn't seem to be trusted at all by the coaching staff. He almost produced in spite of his limited usage and playing lower down the lineup (if he was in the lineup at all). 34 points in his first 60 AHL games wasn't bad at all considering the role and usage he was getting.

Now this year he's getting a shot as a top 6 center and he's exploded in that role so far with Pelletier.

Think there were fitness and commitment question marks but the skill was there, if that's figured out now that's a big add for a prospect group lacking centers.
