Yeah I don't think the Yanks care either way. He won't resign there for any sort of discount and don't think the Yanks will pay him Judge money.

When the Yanks went back to SD early this year, and the talk about how he felt to leave SD, he didn't committ to the Yankees and even Judge said at the time Soto has to get his full value at FA time.

I don't think the Mets will be bidding against themselves. Soto has already won a title with WSH no matter how this WS goes.

Soto will go to the highest bidder. Having Vlad as a DR spokesman (they appear to be friends) won't hurt though.

Jays will have to overpay, no matter how good their facilities are or how well they treat players. They've wasted the last season and a half of a decent window and still spend a ton of money. When they wasted half a season in 2013, they came back and spent the next two seasons with Price and Tulo etc.

If it's $600M, my Rogers phone and cable bill will go up $10. Meh.

STH will get bent over if they really splash cash to Soto and others this offseason, but...
