How do you figure? Cohen is going to be even more motivated to spend on the Mets after he gets a taste of playoff success but doesn't have a title.
If he ends up being the hero on a Yankees WS winner there'll be huge pressure on the Yankees front office to re-sign him. Two rich, motivated bidders is enough to get a high price.
