If Marco Kasper keeps getting better, and he had an incredible 2nd half last season and seems to be turning into a beast in the AHL - I could see the wings moving Joe Veleno out when they feel Kasper is ready to come up.
I don't think they'll bring Kasper up to play 4th line but Andrew Copp would be solid on a checking/4th line and Kasper is a much better two way player than Veleno.
The thing with Veleno is, he's one of the worst players in the league when it comes to corsi if you're into that, and his +/- is always terrible if you're more into the old school measures so it's arguable whether or not he's a very good NHLer.
Maybe a team like the Flames see him as mis-cast as a defensive centre getting so many d zone starts and only 10-11 minutes a night and feel like he's got more offensive upside based on his junior career though? I could see someone like that being available without damaging the draft cupboard too badly, maybe the extra 2nd and 3rd the flames have.
Still that's a player that's probably available next summer for a 4th if Kasper does emerge... teams know there are very few names on the market right now and will charge a premium.
