For example, we're talking about Pospisil like he's a great young prospect....he's turning 25. He could be out of his prime within a couple of years.

How can you point to Pospisil as evidence of the Flames mismanaging their prospects? He was brought up into the NHL when he was ready - he was allowed to develop and now we're reaping the rewards. Go look at the prospect rankings the past few years - we didn't think much of Pospisil either. He improved and developed, and is now part of the core on the NHL roster.
