nah, people are 100% pissed because they think Red Bull is the absolute worst of the football world ... they stand for everything that is loathed by the typical German football supporter. In Germany, football fans are definitely more triggered by Red Bull than they are by clubs like PSG or Man City. And again, many people thought Klopp was different. Someone who hated those modern constructs as well, someone who believed in tradition. A football romantic, someone who "gets it". Someone of us. And now it turns out that everyone has a price, even Jürgen. This is a "you were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them" moment for a lot of football fans.
It really has nothing to do with Red Bull, the company. I also wouldn't call them a trash company per se, I think it's much more nuanced. For example, they have invested a lot of money and energy in funding research to combat illnesses like MS. On the other hand, it's unfortunately true that they have supported right wing views as well. For example, they have funded a TV channel in Austria that has given that #### a bit of a platform, which was especially problematic during the pandemic.

They are a pretty decent company, when it comes to support for their action sports athletes.
