Scratching Donato is more annoying, he's been solid. Allan also sitting makes zero sense.

Still hilarious that our otherwise abysmal power play is top in the league because of one game against the oilers

I really dig Rick Ball - so professional and an amazing voice/pace for hockey. Biggest offseason upgrade right next to Teuvo.

Rick Ball has been a blessing. Might have been the most important off-season signing.

He's a gem. Sounds like wideman, our radio guy and that's a great.

First game I’ve been able to watch with him calling. I like what I hear so far

I’ve watched the road streams for like 5+ years. The end of foley wasn’t my favorite either. This is amazing. I loved Ball in Calgary too. I’ve learned like everyone always watching the road streams. He would have been top 3 to get. Forslund clear 1 for me but after that.. maybe Ball.

Also... what a f***ing treat to hear Ball calling the games. Vosters was vomit-inducing. This is some all-star caliber play-by-play. Maybe Vosters can watch Hawks broadcasts and learn something.

Rick Ball is a pro, but I still don’t like Pang. Mainly I don’t like his Ned Flanders style and his fanboyish calling.


But I also think he was ####ty towards Vosters and it makes me think a lot less of him tbh. The difference in how talkative he is with Ball compared to how he would just go silent or be openly rude to Chris. It was petty and shameful how he went out of his way to sabotage the career of a young broadcaster.

Frustrating game, seemed like the breaks never went our way. Still, this team and Bedard look a lot better this year

Hawks were the better team for the game but just couldn’t get the bounces and Flames capitalized on theirs. Hockey be like that.
Losing still sucks but I’d rather watch games like this where the game could change at any moment.

We played really well the first half of the game. Their PP goal on Bedard's penalty really deflated us.
Still felt we coulda won this game with some luck. Not bad hockey overall... we get off track at times but we had some momentum at times. That first PK we almost scored a shorty.
Improvements will come, and we ARE already more competitive.
