Well, I'd discount 2024 right off the bat. That's 3 of the 7.



From 2023, Bedard has played. The other is still in college.



And from 2022, Korchinski played all last season, and Nazar was in college and played a few games at the end of the season.



For the most part, those 7 1st round picks are all considered solid prospects.



Prospects take a long time to develop. Anyone that things that Calgary's draft picks over the next few years will be taking Calgary to the promised lands quickly is likely to be disappointed.



I don't think anyone in Chicago is disapponted with their progress.
I'm not setting fire to the rebuild yet, I just have some reservations about when they will start to move out of rebuilding mode at this current point in time.

They need another real stud piece. It's personal opinion but I'm iffy on Levshunov. I'd like to see more of him before putting him in that high end tier with Bedard as far as prospects go.
