Since you quoted my post, I assume you’re referring to me. However, no where in my post did I say it’s ok for Israel to fire at the peacekeepers. I think that’s wrong and they should not be firing at them. Where did you see me justifying it?
My point was and still is, that UNIFIL is completely useless. They should remove themselves from the situation entirely because they have zero ability to keep the peace and are putting their own lives at stake by remaining in the middle of an active war zone. They do nothing to serve their own mandate.
