I see why he would take the role. Keeps him involved in the sport but probably doesn’t have to work too hard! He’s done with coaching except for Germany I assume. I thought he’d end up in some sort of role like this back in Germany at some point. Makes too much sense for everyone

Coaching is a LOT of pressure.
Especially when you're up against the best sides in the World.
I quit over a decade ago because I just wanted to help kids become better, but results are still expected. It can be a lot. It is a lot.
