They did extremely well grabbing Savoie in hopes for a productive ELCer down the road, only to lose two of their key young guys that were meant for the future of that team. They are in limbo. If they aren’t able to retain McDavid in 2026 they will have another decade of darkness given the lack of quality in their pipeline.
