  • Once a player has cleared waivers, he can be on an NHL roster for 30 days or 10 NHL games played before requiring waivers again.
  • Any time spent in the AHL doesn't count against those 30 days.
  • The 30 days can be spread across multiple recalls.
  • He doesn't need to clear waivers to be recalled.
