But I don't do it unsafely, and I don't do it when there are lots of other cars around. AND most importantly, I don't do it at speeds that are unsafe for the road conditions or my driving skill.
I get really annoyed when there is any sort of traffic and some "pimped out" Honda decides that it isn't moving fast enough for him and darts around everywhere.
One time I was travelling south on Deerfoot, and going about 110 or so, and this little Honda blows right by me weaving everywhere, going so fast he can't keep it in his lane. Wow. We both go on the Anderson rd. ramp, and sure enough, there is a bike cop hiding in the median. Lights go on, Honda pulled over, me grinning like crazy as I drive by.

Guess what, the roads you are on are designed for the posted speed limit, so if you are driving more than the speed limit, it is unsafe, no matter what the conditions.
If you want to go fast, do it at a race track where you're with other like minded and trained people. Trust me, you will come to enjoy your hobby at a much higer level, and you won't be risking the safety of anyone.
