Crowd work clips are mostly lame now a days. Once comedians found out it was the secret cheat code to high views on social media, it basically became it's own genre of comedy. I find it all pretty lazy and unfunny, personally, especially considering how much of it is clearly staged.
Ironically, the only the crowd work I ever liked was when Norm Macdonald would do it once and while. It was never that new style of "ha, what sorry, SORRY WAS THAT!?" *goes into big long slam on audience member.
Norm was so calm and easy going about it, lacking that lame intensity and mean spiritedness you get from most crowd work bits now a days.
