Like I mentioned before, I am unconvinced of his NHL upside at this point because of how much development time he lost, I really hope he clear waivers though and he can get one more good shot with this team, If he can stay healthy for a full season, then we can really see what he is.

By all accounts Curtis Lazar was a good upbeat guy too. Never really met his first round draft pedigree. But he went to the AHL fought his way back to the NHL and 8 seasons and 280 games later is still in the NHL. I don't miss Lazar at all as a player. But I'm happy for him that he's found a way to stick around the league this long. I do hope Pelletier can enjoy something similar or maybe a bit better career than Lazar.
