Wicked... I love it when this happens... I have one too.
I live in the south and had to go to the north very briefly. I was cruising the Deerfoot and noticed a multanova under the peigan tr overpass (going south). Mental note...
So there I am, 20 minutes later, going south. I was in the left lane, keeping pace with the left laners, just passing 17th. I saw a green durango in the center lane just ahead, so I looked very closely and saw the tell-tale shotgun inbetween the front seats, plus the barely visible lights in the corners of the tinted back window.
So, I was about to drop ~10 kph just because I knew that the multanova was coming up, but this made me do it right away, much to the chagrin of the guy behind me.
This young guy, maybe 18 in a chitbox sunfire with a giant spoiler couldn't see around my truck and assumed that I was just a left lane abuser/slowpoke.
My intention was to get into the center lane, but the kid switched lanes, blew past me, and past the cop.
I kid you not, the cop waited for the guy to blow past the multanova, then he flicked on his lights, and had him pulled over just past the calf robe.
It was so funny. Little punk got two speeding tickets for the same incident.
