I was just making it clear in case someone else read it and though they had 14 days to insure the vehicle, which is what it sounded like.

you do if all of your vehicles are insured with the same company or the car is replacing one on your policy. Most dealers require you to have the insurance before you leave. But once you inform your company that you have the vehicle you have to do it immediately.
I just started working in insurance 2 months ago and just finishing up training so this is all fresh in my mind
