It kind of reminds me of the Phil Housley years. I recall Brian Sutter making the comment that sure he was one dimensional player, but it was a dimension the team really needed. As mediocre those teams were in the scoring department, the power play was at least reliable and it brought some excitement for the fans.
Kuzmenko also brings some levity to the room. He is a niche player, and the Flames happen to need that right now.
