I turn off all that haptic crap, I don't want resistance on my triggers it doesn't feel natural to me but built in sound and mic are definitely a plus especially for games that utilize the sound properly. I've had issue with drift on nearly all of my PS4/5 controllers and friends find the same, besides my preference for how xbox controllers feel in my hands they seem far more sturdy and less issues but games being played also have an affect on controller drift. An example for me is a game like the NHL series, I find myself pushing harder on the stick trying to move faster even when its at its max position, also games that use L3/R3 for main functions like running seem to have more issues.

I recently bought both the Dual Sense Edge and Xbox Elite and I didn't love either of them with the Dual Sense being my least favorite but its to the point I went back to my standard Xbox One X controller as overall its size/weight/feel are just the best fit for me. My switch doesn't get nearly as much use as PC/PS5 and I use a pro controller for any game that is made for it so it makes sense that I have never had a drift issue on my day 1 switch.
