I wasn't complaining about it but if you are British it's a fact of life, you will meet people that don't like you because you're British, I have never ever said anything untoward to Bangor on any thread, I have never so much as criticized anything he's said to the best of my knowledge and yet he (I assume) has always been short with me, on this thread he has accused me of lying about something he has no knowledge of what so ever for no real reason, it's not like I was even talking to him, in fact I studiously avoid any interaction with him at all and always have since I came to the conclusion a long time back that he doesn't like me for no particular reason I can ascertain other than, I assume, I'm British.
I could be wrong, but I cannot think of any reason someone would just out and call me a liar in a conversation he wasn't even part of for no good reason, further he is claiming I am lying about experiencing a bombing in the early 80's in Kensington and Chelsea in West London when we all know there were at least three bombs within a mile or so of the area I worked in, I don't know whether he thinks I'm lying about working in a group home in Kensington in the 80's, he can't think I'm lying about bombs going off as we know that happened, no he thinks I am lying about my experience of one of those bombs going off, a wholly inconsequential experience at that, not one that I have claimed is anyway important, I mean why the ***k would I bother telling porkies about a bomb breaking a window where I wasnt hurt or did anything brave or anything else remarkable?
Like I said if you are British sometimes you just have to take it dry, we probably earnt it
