LA did it, Detroit did it, Calgary and Ottawa did it as well, they tried to accelerate their rebuild by moving pieces and paying for UFAs before they got the right pieces in place.
Rebuilding is hard, man.

They absolutely are. Raymond/Seider a both good, but after that...
I buy into the models that suggest you need at least 5 stars to be a contender.
Which is also why we may be in for a long re-build in Calgary.
I think at this stage they have 1 or 2 potential stars (Parekh and Wolf) though there's a couple others w/ potential. But they need to bottom out to draft at least 2 more this year and next.
