Yeah. I see them keeping him, low probability he gets picked off waivers imo. Cooley had a good game against Edmonton. Some big saves and some puck luck. He said so himself. On another day, some of those desperation saves aren’t saves, the puck misses him.

Vladar was 14-6-2 and 13-6-5 against mainly playoff teams the 2 years prior to last year (where he was playing through an injury requiring surgery). Markstrom was the #1 and he filled in capably
Cooley also has said himself that he has relatively little formal training. He is likeable but people need to pump the brakes, he is a project. He’s a story but he’s not beating out anyone
You would have to be flat out nuts as a GM to start with a tandem of Wolf and Cooley
