I once had a siamese cat make his way home across the city but this story is crazy.

Quote:
A cat who got lost in Yellowstone National Park somehow traveled more than 900 miles to return home after two months, Rayne Beau is a 2-and-a-half-year-old seal point mitted siamese. His owners, Susanne and Benny Anguiano from Salinas, California, were visiting the park in Wyoming when he wandered off, Rayne Beau ran off into the forest after getting startled, and the couple’s attempts to lure him back with his favorite treats and toys were unsuccessful, KSBW reported.

“We had to leave without him,” Anguiano told KSBW. “That was the hardest day because I felt like I was abandoning him.” In total, the cat somehow traveled more than 1,000 miles from Wyoming, to Roseville and onward home to Salinas, California.
