It’s the time of year to watch for injuries to players on other teams. Especially for teams desperate to make the playoffs. Teams like Buffalo, New Jersey, Ottawa and Detroit can’t really play it safe and battle through a rough start to the season because some top players are injured. Buffalo apparently had a scare with Dahlin yesterday… sounds like it’s minor and he’ll just be out for a few days. But any of those teams would be great trade partners for an Andersson trade - especially if they lost a defenceman to injury. Teams loaded with picks and prospects that are ready/desperate to take a step forward. Maybe less so with New Jersey as they have spent a lot of draft capital already. But I would also add Utah to that list - I bet ownership will be really eager to have a breakout season to get some momentum going in the fanbase. Would make them a great target for a trade.
