I understand pencilling in this D corps as weak. It's loaded with players who haven't done much at the NHL level but I think Conroy targeted those players specifically because they are at the age where they'll make the jump to full time.

I'm talking about the ilk of Bahl, Miromanov, Pachal, Grushnikov, Solovyov, Bean.

There's enough mud to throw at the wall and there's a chance 2 of them make a significant jump. My guess is Bahl and Bean. Although I really really like Grushnikov too.

The fun part for me about this upcoming season is who will rise to the top. I believe as fans we are going to be pleasantly surprised by a few of these D men this year.
