I did not keep that costume. A&W are militant regarding the Bear Suit.
Greyhound got sued over that suit (and lets be honest....me) TWICE!
They are very protective of that Bear Suit. Initially I had no idea. I figured..."its just a mascot costume, who cares?"
Oh A&W does. Very much so. And they are litigious! They will sue you.
I was 20 years old and thought it would be hilarious. And it was.
But there are some Execs over at wherever A&W Canada headquarters is that thought very differently. They were not happy.
I dont know what they got out of Greyhound for those lawsuits because that never trickled down to me.
I just thought it would be funny.
