To win, Harris needs to make the case to voters that they will be better off with her as president. This will require showing how her plans are effective and superior to those of her opponent.

1. She has mentioned the pandemic and the supply chain problems it created. She also mentioned how Trump mismanaged the response to the pandemic, and how the Biden-Harris administration inherited the mess.
2. Several states have laws against price gouging, and she wants similar laws to be in place nation-wide. Personally I don't think it's the best way to tackle the problem, but at least she's speaking about the issue and trying to do something about it.
3. She has several times mentioned the "Trump Tax", in other words, the tariffs that Trump wants to slap on imports, making cost of living much more expensive for the American people.
One thing I wish she would put more emphasis on is putting an end to trickle down economics, and making billionaires and multi-millionaires, and big corporations, pay their fair share in taxes. She needs to tie the Trump tax cuts to making inflation worse while the ultra rich have gone laughing all the way to the bank.
