And to be clear, I don't condone her activities outside of the band, but what she does in her personal time will have no bearing on my enjoyment of Linkin Park. The quality of the music will determine that.
Her involvement also won't retroactively ruin the band either lol. So dramatic... She had nothing to do with the Chester era, and let's not forget that the band existed before him as well.

Weird post. We’re not “vetting” but uh, yeah, almost everyone vets people before hiring them, especially for a job this public, so Linkin Park should have.
And hey, someone being in a cult that bullies rape victims is a worthy topic of discussion, no? And it’s not exactly the same as “politics” unless you think that’s a valid political stance.
Your ears will always enjoy what they enjoy regardless of what anyone does, but you can use your brain to choose whether to use your wallet to support people based on more than just “ears like it” if you want. It’s not like this is new or anything has changed so I’m not totally sure why you’re acting like this is some new thing. People still stream Kanye. You can just say you don’t personally care about what she did without making it some societal thing you’re being pressured into discussing.
And yeah, her being included does impact the legacy. She’s part of the history of the band now. When Chester’s kid is saying the same thing, maybe fans ought to consider that it’s a valid position.
