This is from last night. AEW has had some great wrestling the last little while, yet nothing is changing in terms of attendance or ratings. I wonder if their opportunity to become a legitimate contender is gone?

Oh and for the record AEW tickets aren't exactly cheap either, especially for a product with no demand.
I don't get why they aren't shifting back to smaller venues.

Rupp Arena holds 20k, and you are putting 3k people in there.

Means there is no incentive to buy tickets early (basic supply/demand economics), and makes for a ####ty fan experience because sitting in a 20k seat arena with 3k people is no fun either.

Even for Raw in Calgary...the crowd was really into it and loud. But when you have half of the entire 200 level tarped off it still feels kind of empty and that was with 11k people.

Edit: Forgot Dynamite this year was probably about the same and think they drew maybe close to 5k for that in the Saddledome when it was all said and done.
