But I suspect his value around the league is next to nothing because of how he has performed at the NHL level, his physical profile and his injuries.

I will say there will always be one or two teams that heavily scouted the player and was their target if he dropped past the Flames. He may have value to those teams kind of like the Flames when they traded for Lazar as I imagine they saw a lot of him with the Oil Kings.
