The Winter interview was super interesting. Not really for any conspiracies about it having to do with him being Edmonton based, but I thought it gave some interesting insight to why we see players do some bizzare stuff sometimes if all agents act like he did in that interivew (maybe he's a unique cat).
I'm sure they get hit with it from the other end by the teams during contract negotiations too, so maybe his view point is required as the counter balance, but it was text book definition of running around and pulling stats in a way that backs up your position (in this case Mang's value), versus letting the stats guide your position. So many holes in everything he was saying, but I must admit, if you are a player and you pay your agent to do this for you, you can see how you'll get twisted in believing you are getting messed around, from ice time to value. No wonder we so many players make baffling decisions where they overplay their hands during negotiation time.
