Why would the social media give the left an advantage?
It's owned by a bunch of billionaire ghouls (or China), and is well known to have good pipelines to radicalize the young men to the right, it generally mostly just feeds into cynicism and/or doomerism. It also just feeds into a bunch of influencer beef / leftist infighting.
The Democrats as a party are IMO pretty weak in social media. Social media is just not friendly to people who want to fix things with policy, it's boring. So while some progressive causes get a lot of attention on social media, it's very different from the kind of direct party support machine the GOP has built.
The lefties/progressives in social media put out quality content, but they're nowhere near as popular or famous as figures like Shapiro, Tate and Peterson.
