We ended up getting a SNES hoping that NHL Hockey would come out (I loved Super Mario World). I would always go to the game aisle at the Toys r' us in Market Mall to see if by chance there was a release. I finally remember seeing some video game magazine at Mac's in Cambrian Heights and there was an ad for NHLPA Hockey 93 on the SNES.
That was ALL I wanted for Christmas that year.
Did anyone else accidently discover the goalie freezing bug (when the goalie was on the top of the screen)?
I still to this day suck at all the NHL games.....
