I actually really like the first one, my only real beef was that it had nothing to do with the Joker and was essentially a beat-for-beat remake of Taxi Driver with less inspiration and originality.
But damn if Joaquin Phoenix didn't do a hell of a job in that film.
It had its positives but I didnt think it was as great as some people and the Box Office made it out to be.
Same with 'The Batman' it had its moments, but there was a lot of lag-time.
