Yes, clearly both groups want each other gone. But the point is, the west is funding and arming Israel to carry out these killings, while also condemning Hamas, not enabling them. So one side actually has the capability of wiping the other out, and appears to be marching in that direction(it doesn't take much reading between the lines for this to be clear), while the other is saying the same thing with far less tact, but also completely unable to actually carry it out.
The only ones at risk of being wiped off the map are Palestinians. Also, only one side is a democracy, and participates in the modern world as we do. I don't think it is at all unfair to expect Israel to operate with higher standards than terrorists do(is that really asking too much?). I see the plight of the Palestinian as tragic, indoctrinated as children and raised to hate, but also given many strong reasons to hold tight to that hate by Israel, and exercise it when a glimmer of the possibility of success shows.
So for these two to be openly wishing for the power to murder millions(ignoring the irony of that as well), it should be condemned, because they weren't raised by Hamas, they should know better, they have access to everything they need to live, and yet see one solution.
