So they are going to delay this a few more months and do an alternate alignment. From his chatter, it sure sounds like they are consulting with that group from a few years ago that claimed tunnels were bad. They also want it to get allllll the way down to the south health campus, which tells me they are going to try to hold on to votes down there. The biggest issue they claim is flimsy ridership numbers. Well, if that's the issue...
Zero talk of north central. To me, the smartest thing at this point would be to scrap the south, build the north with an airport spur at 96th and end it at Eau Claire. You want ridership numbers? That's where people are. But too many NDP voters, I suspect.

The best part was him criticizing Nenshi for putting forward an ambitious, uncosted plan (fair), then turning around and saying they will design a new alignment, go all the way south for the $6B and have shovels in the ground in January. Much more realistic...
