The new US deal helps as well, but with new buildings going up some people will be priced out of going to games.
The NFL and NBA understand that, look at how they are doing TV rights now. They know a lot of people like to watch at home now, or streaming etc. THey are getting boatloads of money that way. Even WWF is going to Netflix.
The best blueprint they can follow is the NBA because of the similar regional rights and schedule.
If they get a big TV deal like with the US one the owners will want their piece as well.
