A large determinant of Perfetti's value is what will his next contract be? We know that Andersson has good value at his current cap hit - what will Perfetti sign for? Maybe he signs for $2.5 - $3M, at which point he would be very valuable, but I strongly doubt that. I suspect something like 3 x $4 or a longer deal like 6 X $6
At that point, Andersson is worth more.

I get that, but Andersson is signed for 2 years, then likely requires an 8 year extension that will undoubtedly age badly.
It really depends on how the Flames view Perfetti. If they love his upside, I think they would jump at that trade. I have no idea how they feel about him.
He didn't have a particularly great second half last year, I'm not sure if there is a reason for that that would be a concern?
